Today’s guest blogger is Jamie McNeal. Jamie is a senior majoring in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from St. Louis, Missouri. She is a Resident Advisor for DePaul’s university apartment communities and also a Leadership Development Coordinator specializing in retreats, conferences and advanced leader initiatives in DePaul’s Student Leadership Institute. Jamie is a member of DePaul’s Gospel Choir, Nu’ance Dance Team, and a volunteer with Hoops and Hope.

The Student Leadership Institute and the Office of Student Involvement are hosting SRL Recognition: A Celebration of Leadership, acknowledging outstanding student leaders and student organizations. We are calling on YOU to help nominate students and organizations who are making a difference in the following categories:
- Outstanding Organizational Development
- Outstanding Act of Service
- Outstanding Contributions to Diversity & Social Justice
- Outstanding Contribution to the DePaul Community
- Organization of the Year
- Advisor of the Year
- Socially Responsible Leader

Step 1: Think of a student or student organization that should be recognized and awarded for their contributions to the community.

You may submit a nomination for as many categories as you want! The application deadline is April 26th 213 at 5:00pm.
The SRL Recognition: A Celebration of Leadership will be held in the MPR (Student Center Room 120) on May 30th 2013 from 5pm-7pm. Join us for an evening of awards, appetizers, and celebration!
